CHARACTERISTICS OF DOLL: Gene is designed by Mel Odom.
PRICE: Outfit approximately $25 on eBay. Dressed Pin Up doll approximately $40 to $65 on eBay.
COMMENTS: Outfit and doll are both retired. Original retail was $69.99 for dressed doll, $29.95 for outift. Doll retired in 1999. Gene is the very popular fashion doll introduced in 1995 and currently still in production.
MARKET REPORT: The bottom has fallen out of the Gene doll market in the last 5 years, with too much supply and not enough demand. Pin-up was produced for many years as were many of the early Genes which has helped to lessen the value of the dolls in today's market.
